How to Use It?
Preparation:
Ensure the car paint has been degreased.
Step 1: Shake the bottle well. Apply a few drops of the nano-ceramic coating onto the applicator until it is evenly covered.
Step 2: Start with the horizontal/top surfaces. Apply in straight lines, slightly overlapping from one line to the next. Work on small sections at a time, approximately 3'x3' or the size of a door or half a hood.
Step 3: The applicator should glide smoothly over the surface while evenly spreading a thin layer of the coating. If the applicator begins to drag or the application becomes uneven, add a few more drops to the applicator.
Step 4: After application, you will immediately notice a "rainbow effect" (more noticeable on darker surfaces) as the coating bonds with the surface. After about 1-3 minutes, the "rainbow" will start to turn into a haze, indicating the coating has surface-dried and is ready to be polished.
Step 5: Use the included microfiber towel to thoroughly wipe the section, removing any coating residue. The first wipe should remove about 80% of the residue, and the second wipe should easily remove the remaining residue. Use small circular motions during removal, and avoid applying excessive pressure.
Step 6: Repeat these steps as you move along the rest of the vehicle. Apply to painted surfaces, plastic, trim, and glass in the same manner. For multiple layers, allow at least one hour between applications.
Step 7: Let the coating fully dry/cure for at least 48 hours before exposing it to water. The longer it remains dry, the better, as it continues to cure for approximately 5 days (you can drive the car during this time).
